Specifies minimum ventilation rates and indoor air quality that will be acceptable to human occupants. Intended to minimize the potential for adverse health effects. Applies to all indoor or enclosed spaces that people may occupy except where other applicable standards and requirements dictate larger amounts of ventilation. Release of moisture in residential kitchens and bathrooms, locker rooms and swimming pools is included in the scope of this standard. Includes Addenda A. This standard includes all interpretations to the 1989 and 1999 versions. All addenda to the 1989 version have been incorporated into this version of the standard.
