A manufacturer expresses an opinion as to how the new test standard for collectors containing a boiling fluid will be looked upon by other manufacturers, contractors, and users. The benefit of the new standard to the industry is discussed, as well as limitations of the test standard. A suggestion is offered regarding the need for an additional standard for the future.
