The objective is this research was to identify and evaluate existing data on the effect of storage time, temperature, humidity and atmosphere on the shelf life of fresh fruits and vegetables, and compile options for varying storage conditions to match desired storage life. This shall include determining commodities for which varying storage conditions would be valuable and compiling current recommendations and existing practices into a useful format.
