On the basis of a state of the art review, some computational results and experimental data, discusses the following questions usually encountered in numerical simulation of room air movement – What is the most appropriate model for predicting room air motion? Can room air motion be predicted by the kappa-epsilon model? Can room airflows with multiple solutions or unstable airflows be predicted? Can complex diffusers be simulated?
