Based on the thermodynamically consistent equation of state for HFC134a developed by the authors (Piao et al. 1991), thermodynamic charts and detailed tables of the thermodynamic properties in the entire fluid phase, as well as derived equations for calculating thermodynamic properties, are given. As an example of the application, a theoretical refrigeration cycle with this new refrigerant has been examined and its performance has been compared with a conventional cycle with CFC12.
