Electric resistance panel heating offers comfortable space heating in applications in which hydronic radiant heating is not possible or feasible. Placed either in the floor or ceiling, electric systems can be modeled to deliver the heat required within a room. This paper summarizes the basic principles behind the model and demonstrates with an example.
