The IAQ Procedure (IAQP) is an “on-again, off-again” method of determining the required outdoor ventilation rates in ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2013, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality. There is renewed interest in using this method for energy conservation as well as improving and maintaining IAQ. This seminar provides an update on current activities related to the IAQP with regard to Standard 62.1; ASHRAE TGR4 Indoor Air Quality Procedure Development; U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) EQpc68, and a recent case study describing successful application of the IAQ Procedure.
