Measurement and control of staticpressure within a building is an important, if not vital, control function inmany facilities. Electronic differential pressure sensors, called transducershere, have become increasingly more accurate and reliable since theintroduction of direct digital controls (DDC). However, the accuracy of thismeasurement can be affected by weather, either through wind or by changes in ambientoutdoor air temperature. This article discusses how best to mitigate effects ofmeasurement error caused by changes in ambient air density.
