Nearly 30 years after winning a regional ASHRAE Energy Award, the National Bank of Canada Tower has decreased its energy use intensity (EUI) to close to its original EUI, without replacing major equipment. This article shows how engineers saved nearly $300,000 annually through new technology, advanced equipment, and modifications to existing equipment.
