Describes a study conducted to clarify the accuracy and verify the validity of three-dimensional numerical simulation for nonisothermal airflows with buoyancy effects in rooms based on the kappa-epsilon model, in which the eddy viscosity model for Reynolds stress and the eddy diffusivity model for the turbulent heat flux are assumed. For this purpose carries out precise model experiments and compares the results with numerical simulations of horizontal non-isothermal jets in an open space and in an enclosed space. Presents the conclusions.
