Discusses a modification of vapour compression cycles with solution circuits. The modification contains an internal heat exchange between the desorption and absorption processes, which results in extremely low pressure ratios compared to those of conventional compression cycles working with pure refrigerants. Results obtained by a simulation program to calculate the performance of this cycle are presented.
