This evaluation procedure describes the use of a Gray Scale for visually evaluating overall color change resulting from colorfastness tests. Individual color difference components of lightness,
chroma and hue may be noted, but are not quantified by this procedure. To determine
if a Gray Scale is still suitable for use, see Appendix A.
Color change due to any colorfastness test may be evaluated.
