This addendum addresses outdoor air quality assessmentand air cleaning requirements. The current standard requiresoutdoor air assessment and recommends outdoor cleaning butdoes not require it. The section where outdoor air cleaning iscurrently discussed (Section 5.9) is replaced with a new Section4, which requires outdoor air quality assessment for allventilation systems. Documented assessment is expected tolead to informed decisions related to the location of intakesand outdoor air cleaning measures.
