1.1 This specification covers distilled acids derived from the distillation of soybean oil. Three types are covered, as follows:

1.1.1 Type I -Usually produced from degummed soybean oil and referred to as water white soybean fatty acids.

1.1.2 Types II and III -Usually produced from recovered soybean oil.
