1.1 Tables and equations presented in this test method are for use in calculating the volume and weight of the following industrial chemical liquids:

1.1.1 Alcohols and Polyols:

1.1.2 Chlorinated Compounds:

1.1.3 Esters:

Ethyl acetate, 85-88 weight % 9

1.1.4 Glycol Ethers:

1.1.5 Ketones:

1.2 A test method is given for calculating the volume at 60&degF from a volume observed at another temperature, &degF.

Note 1-Tables at 20&degC can be calculated from the data and information provided.

1.3 A test method is given for determining the weight in pounds per U.S. gallon (in air) at 60&degF from an observed specific gravity, and to compute therefrom the weight in pounds of a given volume of the liquid in U.S. gallons at 60&degF.
