Describes a study to investigate the influence of textile characteristics of curtains to understand the impact of thermal transmittance. Thirty conventional curtain samples (without sealed edges) were tested on the window thermal transmission instrument. Analysis of variance, t-tests and regression analysis were applied to investigate the influence of the textile parameters. Draws conclusions from the results of the analysis.
