This paper describes a few of the basic design parameters used in the design of approximately 4 million ft2 of conditioned space using the low-temperature air distribution concept. Of this total area, more than 2 million ft2 are in operation with what is considered to be excellent results. It is felt that this low-temperature air distribution concept will make ice thermal energy storage (TES) systems viable and the use of this combination will become standard practice in the near future.
