This commemorative booklet celebrates the centennial of the founding of the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) in 1905. ASRE merged with the American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) in 1959 to form ASHRAE.

Beginning in the 1920s, refrigerator manufacturers promoted the usefulness of household refrigerators by offering booklets of recipes that required refrigeration as part of the preparation. This booklet is a compilation of these recipes, presented as they originally appeared. You will find that many of these old recipes are not as sweet and have a purer taste than the prepared foods we have grown accustomed to. These fun recipes still demonstrate the usefulness and convenience of modern refrigeration. 5.5” x 8.5”, soft cover.
