This paper studies the effects of hot weather on the general mood and mental stability of a population in Maryland. The researchers obtained their data through direct interviews with members of a certain community. The community was already being studied for the effects of weather changes on mental and physical health, when a prolonged heat wave provided an opportunity for the researchers to further focus their study.
