The intelligent building, with respect to energy menagement, to energy consumption and to comfort requirements, must have “central control unit” and performances which will be coordinated and controlled by this unit.
In this paper the applicability of human thermoregulation and thermal behavior to buildings is discussed. The building with variable thermal performances is able to react appropriately to changing climatic conditions – whether it is hot, cold, humid or dry.
The building which would have all these characteristics, must have changeable U factor, VAV air-conditioning system, fenestration concentrated to south, heat pump, U-factors different during summer and winter, water sprays on a roof. One possible building design was adopted for” energy analyses.
