Nine pieces of recovery equipment and two pieces of recycling equipment have been tested according to the E35-421 standard. The following data were measured – average vapour and/or liquid mass flow rates, retention of refrigerant by the equipment, recovery efficiency, transfer of contamination, mixture of different refrigerants, and recycling ability. Conclusions on the use of recovery and recycling equipment are given.
KEYWORDS: testing, performance, refrigerants, recycling, equipment, fluid flow, flow rate, efficiency, mixtures, contamination.
