Hybrid ventilation systems are an innovative and potentially energy- efficient approach to ventilating and cooling buildings. While not yet widely used in the United States, there are many documented examples of successful applications worldwide, especially in the European Union. These systems appear to be drawing interest from building owners, architects and engineers in the United States.
