Thermal Labyrinth Ventilation System (TLVS) is an energy efficient ventilation system that offers the advantage of reducing the buildingenergy consumption. It is based on precooling or preheating the outdoor air through heat exchange. This paper studies the energy savings achieved in theconstruction sector by means of the underground thermal labyrinth. A case study in Algeria is investigated with virtual illustration using IntegratedEnvironmental Solutions. The results of the analysis show that by using an underground thermal labyrinth the outdoor air lost a maximum of 7.8°C during peak summer hours. The estimated annual energy savings associated with temperature savings on the fresh air load is nearly 12%.The results ofthe simulations and the recommendations are also indicated.
