The EUIs in quick service restaurants have dramatically increased in recent years due to their increased sales of drive-through windows, improved food quality, and reduced floor area per store. The article discusses the finding in a recently published report “Technical Support Document: 50% Energy Savings for Quick-Service Restaurants.†The report provides new reference EUI data for code-compliant quick service restaurants.
