MasterFormat is the standard for organizing project manuals and construction specifications in the United States and Canada. The standard was developed in the 1960s to respond to a lack of onsistently organized information in the construction world. The standard is jointly produced by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Construction Specifi cations Canada (CSC).
