Describes three mechanical engineering design computer programs for loads, ducts and pipes. The pipe program analyses both HVAC and plumbing systems. All three programs are information-based in that the models of the building and mechanical systems can be developed with information available in user-definable (and user-expandable) database libraries. States that the programs are representative of the new generation of computer programs for the building industry that utilise all of the new and powerful hardware and software tools available only over the last three to five years.
