Most HVAC engineers and related industry members probably don’t relish the prospect of seeing a lawyer. However, given the litigious nature of our society, and the myriad of problems that require legal advice, there’s a good possibility that at some point most engineers will have to consult an attorney. To derive maximum benefit from your relationship with your lawyer, and to ensure that lawyers properly discharge their obligations to you, you have to understand the nature of the attorney/client relationship.
