Details the analyses and recommendations for smoke-testing protocol for a large enclosed stadium, and sets forth what are believed to be the appropriate tests for the facility. Aims to provide sufficient information upon which informed judgements can be made. Also hopes that the test results will demonstrate sufficient correlation with the theoretical analysis to allow use of ASHRAE Guideline 5 ‘Guideline for the Commissioning of Smoke Management Systems’ (ASHRAE 1994), as the appropriate method for testing and commissioning smoke control systems in similar facilities.
