This is the second of three papers summarising the results of a survey undertaken to collect and systematise information on quantitative relations between the indoor air environment and worker productivity. From research into the effects of temperature, finds that while most people maintain high productivity for a short time under adverse environmental conditions, there is a temperature/time threshold beyond which productivity rapidly decreases.
