The objective of the project involved data collecting, processing and storing for approximatelyone continuous year from remote sites.
The technical aspects of the project were developed by personnel at Edison Electric Institute. Once the project was defined, the Electric Power Research Institute requested proposals and awarded a contract for project completion to Professor Charles F. Sepsy at The Ohio State University.
The project has been conducted at The Ohio State University under the direction of ProfessorCharles F. Sepsy with two committees of experts guiding the project from the outside. One committee was a “Steering Committee” consisting of representatives from member firms ofEEl, and the other committee was a “Review Committee.”
