Retro-commissioning (RCx) in existing buildings aims tocapture lost savings from inefficient building management practices. But themeasure life of often implemented RCx measures is based on assumptions andlimited literature and varies widely across studies (from 2-20 years). In thisstudy, we quantified persistence of RCx measures based on Estimated Useful Life(EUL) of all installed measures, and qualitatively identify operational factorsthat influence persistence.
