Ice is seemingly simple–but don’t tell that to curlers. Ice temperature, scraping methods, pebble size, water purity and many other variables go into curling ice. This article explores how to create the “perfect” curling ice and discusses the most overlooked factor: that air is in constant contact with 100% of the ice surface.
