The objectives of this research project are:
- To develop a consistent method of testing adsorbents in dynamic liquid line conditions for organic acid removal capacity from circulating refrigerant and lubricant.
- To determine the repeatability of the test method between tests under identical conditions.
- To determine the effects of refrigerant and lubricant selection.
- To demonstrate that the method can be used with and without the presence of water.
