The objective of this research project was to expand the database on the heat gain to space for commercial food service equipment as it applies to the dishroomspace. The scope of the testing included latent and sensible loading from dishwashers and ancillary equipment, along with ventilation rates of typically hood appliances. The study includes a comprehensive design guide that incorporates the new data along with load calculation procedures.
