The purpose of the present study was to obtain experimental performance data for the shell-side condensation of HFC-134a and HCFC-123 on enhanced tube surfaces. Specifically, the project was concerned with finding the effect of heat flux, tube geometry, non-condensible gases, liquid inundation, and vapor shear on the shell-side heat transfer coefficient.
