The primary objectives of this project were to develop theoretical density corrections for velocity measurements taken by common velocity anemometers, measure the effects of density variations due to temperature, pressure, and humidity on such anemometers, and determine how well the developed theoretical models correspond to the corrections produced by the experimental data. The motivation was to recommend density correction procedures in order to improve the measurements accuracy of these instruments at test conditions that deviate from standard.
