Andy describes a new river source heat pump project he worked on in Scotland. The two heat pumpsystems draw water from the river at an average temperature of about 46°F andcirculate hot water to the network at up to about 167°F, achieving a heatadvantage (also known as the heating CO) of 3.0–3.5.
