Describes two projects specifically designed to be energy efficient and commercially responsible – one residential and one commercial. Both buildings are intended to demonstrate how far buildings can reasonably go to minimise their environmental impact. Describes the analysis carried out in the buildings for operating energy, embodied energy, water use, use of ozone- depleting chemicals and construction waste management.
