Although enthalpies of lithium bromide-water solutions and their vapors are available (1 and 2), only some values of entropy are reported 3 to have been computed by Harold Lower4 , and it is stated 3 that it would be desirable to re-evaluate the entropies of these solutions. In this paper the values of entropy of lithium bromide-water solutions have been computed over the temperature range a DC to 200 DC, using the best available experimental data p~rtaining to vapor pressures, activity coefficients and specific heat-capacities. These values can be useful in making second law analysis of absorption refrigeration systems using a lithium-bromide-water combination.
