An analytical model was developed to predict the condensation heat transfer coefficient inside longitudinally finned tubes. The model predicted well the experimental data for a high-surface-tension fluid and overpredicted the experimental data for a low-surface-tension fluid. In addition, a parametric study was performed, using the analytical model developed in this study, to determine the effects of the number, width, height, and material of the fins on the condensation heat transfer coefficient.
